Yeah yeah, I know, this is not my normal type of post. BUT I just wanted to slide this post in here real quick. Two of my friends made this Pizza Spaghetti recipe and it looked really good so Monday night when I was starving I decided I would make it for my mom and me. And of course I put my own spin on it. Here are my two friends blogs about it: Heinz57 & Teenah's Projects.
They eat meat so theirs look more like the original recipe we got from Pinterest: Pizza Spaghetti Casserole.
It is incredibly simple and here's what I used:
Shredded Cheese (Fiesta Blend Cheese)
Newman's Own Spaghetti Sauce
Lindsay's Large Olives
Ronzoni Thin Spaghetti package
One Green Bell Pepper
One Small/Medium Yellow Onion
We would have liked mushrooms too but I used what we had.
I cut up the olives, bell pepper, and onion:
Boiled the noodles until soft and strained:
Place Spaghetti on cooking pan (I believe they want you to use a baking dish with more depth, I wanted it to be thinner like a pizza so I just used this more of a cookie sheet):
Spread Spaghetti sauce all over the top:
Sprinkle cut up ingredients all over top:
Sprinkle shredded cheese on top:
Place foil on top and bake for 30 minutes at 350 in oven, remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes.
Here is the end result (The pictures aren't very clear =/ and I accidentally cut it before taking the picture... haha I was ready to dig in!):
It was really good and I think my mom liked it way more than she thought she would. She is already thinking of more times when we can make this. =)
I also wanted to share with you a couple of things I got when we went back to Kohl's for our last chance at using the 30% off before it expired.
Tiny earrings by Itsybitsy that came up only a couple bucks and this Avril Lavigne Forbidden Rose perfume that smells so nice!
<3

Me too!! It's really nice to find people we share the same interests with even if they aren't in our daily face to face life. hahaha!

This is really easy and came out sooo good! If you like spaghetti and you like pizza, you can't go wrong! lol
DeleteWhoa.. that looks so easy and yummy. My stomach is growling lol!
ReplyDeleteI will have to try this, hopefully tomorrow! I have everything but the extra goodies (olives, bell pepper) yum!
Thanks for sharing :) And I am gonna check your friends variations.. need me some meat! :X
Also I like those earrings! They're so cute! Kinda surprising cos they're not all wild looking! lol
In SF there was this store I thought you might like. WALLS of earrings, bracelets, necklaces. They had a deal 4 for $10! I wanted to take a photo but they were kinda looking and wasn't sure if it was allowed. I will take you there if we ever get a chance to go to the city!
Yayyyy!!! Tell me about it when you do! I really like olives and bell peppers but you definitely don't need them... I think the cheese is the main pizza ingredient that is necessary. =)
DeleteI know i was thinking of either wearing them in like my cartilage pircing or just on days where i want something super subtle and I need to wear some type of earring.
OMG I sooooo want to see that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I love bell peppers (well, I like red, LOVE orange and yellow). And love onions :D
DeleteNow I am wondering what it would be like with creamy garlic Alfredo sauce.. hmm and chicken (or without for you lol). tons of extra garlic! yum..
good post, i like food, it looks good!
