Some Studs and Mochi!

Hey there!

Wanted to show you a couple little DIY I have done recently - like a couple weekends ago.

The first one is the black sweater I told you about in a previous post I got from a thrift store. It's knit so it was different trying to stick the studs in than woven fabric. But I like how it came out. I also did a pair of high waisted shorts I found at a thrift store, a little on the front pocket and the whole back pocket. And also a headband. It was pretty wide so I folded it in half and then studded it. I like how they all came out.

Before

After

Lastly I would like to say Thank You! to Mochi Beaucoup for having me on the team! =)
They are my newest sponsor and I LOVE them! This is where I found those amazing scarves I told you guys about that was just perfect for me! And they are SUPER friendly and the sweetest people!

Thanks for viewing and all of the lovely comments! <3

    1. Thank you!! It was definitely different doing it on a sweater as a opposed to a jacket or something more sturdy. But I like how it came out. :)

  3. Studs make everything more special! I've been meaning to buy a pack at Michaels and do something similar to my shorts as well. :)
That knit sweater turned out awesome too! I love the cool design you did on it. Definitely made a simple sweater more edgy!

And also, I love the sweater (both the before and after).. what an amazing find! I would have been so torn to have added studs to it because I love the way it is before! I think it looks cool after too though! And whoa awesome with the shorts!! But those are spikes?? How do you sit?!?!!

I really wanna have a mini crafting party with you lol!!!

    1. Thanks Josie!!! :):):)

Yeah, I felt like the sweater was almost frumpy pre-studs cause I wore it once and knew it was missing something. I found it in a thrift store knowing I was looking for a black cardi to stud up so it wasn't that difficult of a decision. hahaha... I know what you mean though and almost felt that way before I spiked my faux leather jacket.

I haven't tried the shorts on yet but they are high waisted so the studs should be fairly high up, I don't really see it being a big deal if I sit on them a bit either though.

      We totally should!! How fun!!

    1. Thank you! While I was doing it that's what I was thinking too! Haha... "What else can I stud??" ... My fingers were starting to hurt from all of the pressing though so luckily I stopped and didn't stud everything in my closet. :)

  6. I love the studded sweater!! Where did you get the studs? I need to get some and get my DIY on. :) I wish those shoes were $12.99, but they were $39.99. Still pretty awesome for Dolce Vita though! <3

    1. Thank you! I ordered teh studs from StudsandSpikes.com, very reasonably priced I thought.

That IS a very good price for those shoes! I'm so used to my cheap little dd's shoes that I just hope all shoes are the same price haha but 40 for a really good pair is soooo good!
