Shoe Pickle

I have a couple pairs of shoes that I am just constantly thinking about and lusting for.

The first:

These black/floral wedges. I have this shoe in a hot pink and a blue. So I know how they feel and they are comfortable, especially because of the rubber on the bottom how it grips the ground when walking. However from the two sites that I know that sell them, one has gone out of stock, and the other only has other sizes.

So then I figured I could get them in this style:

The top ones are from one site, and the bottom ones are from the ever-so-loved GoJane. Again, I know how they feel because I have this style of shoe in a few other colors and they fit comfortably. (Not to mention I LOVE a real Lita and these would be a cute version of them. I only preferred the wedge bootie version better because you can see more of the print and I love the rubber on the sole.) So out of these two, I liked the bottom ones better just because they are darker and have more red on them. So I went to make the purchase of them the other night but didn't want to pay almost 10 dollars for shipping, therefore I needed my mom to add something to the shopping cart to equal 60 dollars or more for free shipping. So I'm checking out and...

...The site tells me it just ran out of my size!!!!! =-O .... The sadness. The other site with the top version is still available and are my last chance to get the floral booties I have been daydreaming about.

Unless...one of the sites or a separate site gets them back in stock. Ugh, I don't know what to do, really.

Next, we have the same wedge in a leopard print:

ugh... I can just imagine a black outfit with these killers on the bottom. Heaven. However, also out of my size on every site I have seen. *Super sad face*

And then...we have another pair of faux Litas from Ebay in the flag print I have been wanting:

They look shorter to me, however their listed measurements are what I am familiar with and I think they are worth it. I just have to make the actual purchase and wait for the looooooong delivery since they are currently in China.

And Lastly, hahaha you may see a trend here but these I have been wanting for a long time and are the real time Litas (that I currently have none of because, for me, they are expensive)

I just can't get over the gorgeousness of them!! If I got only one real pair of Litas, these would be them. GAHHHH the beauty!

Another Day, Another Thrift Store

Hello there! =)

So I am pretty excited about some of my new finds I got from a thrift store over the weekend. I also picked up a couple other items that I will share with you. I know it takes me a while recently between blog posts, it's mainly me not having time to take adequate pictures of the items to share. But I am working on it.

Firstly, I went to Wally-World otherwise known as Wal-Mart. I picked up this perfume/body spray that I think smells surprisingly really nice and feminine but in a womanly way-not too sweet smelling and childlike. I also got the skull bandana that goes from gray in the middle to black around the edges. And for some reason I picked up this Rimmel eye pencil not knowing I had found it already. =/ so strange. And since I hadn't shared it with you on my blog, I can not recall when I would have picked it up and why I wouldn't have posted it. Anyways here it is.

I also recently got this cool skeletal ring from Ebay! (shown in above and below pictures)

I went to Forever21 on my lunch break earlier this week and FINALLY picked up a high-low skirt that I have been wanting! I originally wanted and liked one that was a knit miniskirt under a flowy, high-low, sheer, chiffon skirt. But no luck. I found this one and felt kind of weird about it once I got it home and on but we shall see what I can come up with for it in order for me to like it more. Something about it was just off. And I got the Union Jack bag that I can use to carry my lunch in or something.

On to... Le Thrift Store... haha just kidding it was The Thrift Store in Citrus Heights.

60 cents for this velvet crop top (I'd like to wear with something high waisted.)

This is kind of enormous, pretty much half the size of this door. Super bright red and a little over 2 dollars with original tags still on.

This top was kind of awesome, it reminded me of Freddy Kruger even though it is green and I liked the shorter arms and how oversized it was... and it was only 80 cents!

I picked this top up from the men's section. It has wool in it and is heavy, I thought I could wear it as more of a jacket than a top.

Nice cozy oversized sweater in a darker kind of blue.

This sweater was SUPER soft, like literally it is surprisingly soft. It is like a heathered black and white-ish colored grandma sweater. (A lot lighter in person)

This royal blue cardigan was so pretty with it's pearl-esque style buttons! I thought it would be good for interviews or something since it is very fitted and looks more classic.

AND THEN...

My favorite find of the day...

This lime green blazer! OMG so cute! I love it!!! =)

We also tried going to a Church of Latter Day Saints Thrift Store after this one and had no luck finding anything. Thrift stores are so hit and miss. But I love thrifting so it's worth it...especially at these prices! =)

Thanks for viewing!

BOWS!

So Thanks to Heinz57 I found out about this bed set they have at Target. However, every single time I have checked, which literally must have been about 20 times, they never had it in my size bed. Only twin. So I continue to look because it is gorgeous and I love it and my mom even looked when she is at a different Target when it was on sale. No such luck, she did however get me a rain check for the price. And THEN! what do you know, I go to the store after work to look for this and a leopard footsie pajama thing that wasn't there (shocker) on Tuesday night after work... and Whoo Hoo! they had my size!!!! And only one left. It comes with the comforter (which it says is reversible but the back is just black) and two shams. Is a sham the same thing as a pillowcase? cause that's really what they are. I SUPER love it though. Incredibly comfy and ....fluffy?

Anyways, if you saw what was under it, it would be a bunch of leopard blankets... :)

Finally!!

So I know it's taking me forever to post my Christmas post, but here it is. I have just been really busy and trying to learn some things.

First I will tell you about the weekend, I went to visit my grandma on Friday with my brother and his GF. That was nice, seeing her and spending some time with her before the holiday. Saturday is OUR day. We do presents that night and it's pretty much our Christmas. We never do much on the actual Christmas Day. Our tradition for food is that we always just eat a bunch of appetizers instead of a big meal with ham or whatever. So right before we were about to do presents, my brother gets a phone call about my grandma not doing well and was in the ER. That kinda put us in a weird mood for the night, in addition to this being our first Xmas without Bobby Mittens. He was an amazingly special cat of ours that passed away a couple months ago. We had him for a long time and he loved playing in the wrapping paper and ribbons. I miss him SO much!! I don't want to say too much about it because it makes me really sad but my brother and his GF got my mom a purse as one of her presents and they had a picture of Bobby's face put on it. Let me just say, it was definitely a moment for the family.

*cough, cough* On a lighter note...

Sunday, my aunt and cousins came over and played games.

(BTW, my grandma is doing fine and back at her regular nursing home)

Here is one of the many peace symbols displayed in the Xmas lights in the Fabulous 40s area downtown. I thought it was really awesome!

And the main reason I have been taking so long to put this blog up...

I got a camera!! .....And I am trying to figure out how to use it and get the hang of it. (Not to mention I couldn't use it the first night because it needed batteries we didn't have, then when we got batteries, it needed to get a memory card - so it took a while.)

Found this at Kohl's recently for my camera.
