Killer Shoes & Wand Update

Last weekend my shoes from Ebay finally arrived!! They came from China and said shipping would take 20-30 days. And they did. I guess it was okay though because I had other stuff going on and didn't NEED them right away and now that I do have them, I love them! =) Here are a few pics of them. They look way better and dangerous on! hahaha

Also, over the weekend, my mom and I went to try and sell some clothes at a place called Freestyle downtown. I found this super awesome velveteen black babydoll dress when I was there while they were deciding which things they wanted of mine and which they didn't. It's originally from Forever21 and was half price from what Freestyle originally had it marked as. So I got it for 6 bucks! I have been looking everywhere for a dress like this and FINALLY here it is! 6 bucks, lucky me! lol
(Sorry about the picture, this is the back of it. I forgot to take a picture of it and asked my brother to send me one and this is what I got)
=)

I am also wearing it in the following pictures.

So I mentioned for Christmas my aunt got me a Curling Wand that I had been wanting and I finally got the chance to curl my hair with it! I went to see Contraband (which was SO good!) with a friend from High School Saturday night and decided I would try it! I love how it turned out!
(please excuse the chubby face)

What do you guys think?

One last thing I thought I would mention, Goodwill is having another 50% off day! I am not sure if all of the States are the same but for sure California will be doing this on President's Day! I hope you get a chance to check it out!

  4. Jenna! Oh girl! Your hair is AMAZING! I'm very happy the curling wand worked out for you! How long did it take? Was it easy to get the ball rolling with it? Did you use the glove?!

When I first saw the velveteen dress hanging, I was like "ehhh" but it looks great on you! Well, from what I can see! Unfortunately for velveteen, it doesn't always look so pretty when hung on the rack. You really need to wear it to see how great it truly is!!

Thank you for the heads up with the sale! I will try to make it to this one, somewhere!!

And I mega, mega, MEGA love the new shoes!!! Have you tried them yet? Are they comfy!? How was the seller? Packaging was ok? Sometimes packaging is bad when it's from China (in my experience). Need details, Jenna! DETAILS!

    1. Hi Josie!! Thank you! I loved how my hair turned out and it actually lasted! That is one of the biggest problems I have with curling my hair with a regular curling iron-it goes flat in less than a half an hour. I suppose the length weighs it down. It took less than 30 minutes for me to curl all of my hair and it was pretty easy to use and get the hang of. I did use the glove and think I will continue because the wand gets REALLY hot and you can control the heat to make it hotter. I think that also contributed to it working so well.

Yeah, lol... my brother doesn't know how to take pictures of dresses apparently. And that's true how you never know until you try it on. For some reason I just knew it was what I had been looking for and didn't even bother trying it on.

Definitely! You should! I am glad we found out last time which ones we liked and didn't. I think the last one we went to was the one on Manzanita and we found a lot of great finds there.

I did try them on-immediately. LOL... The only thing was that they only sold them in full sizes. And only go up to an 8. I wear an 8 1/2 so I was cutting it close. They are a little snug but super comfy and I think I could even wear them dancing! The seller seemed nice. I got an email between the 20-30th days of waiting and they let me know they would give me a refund if I didn't receive them yet. Even if I got them late. I guess they just wanted to make sure they got a good review. The box the shoes were in was a bit beat up but each of the shoes were in like plastic bags and were totally fine. The shoe box was in one of those grey shipping bags. You can try mine on if you are interested in getting a pair for yourself and want to see the fit! =)

    2. I might have to take you up on the fitting of the shoes! :) Can you text or email me me the name of the seller?

And omg the wand was just $25?! For some reason I thought wands were all $100+ ! I will have to CHECK THIS OUT ASAP!

    3. I will definitely send you the sellers info! Just let me know when you want to try them on... I think they would look so hot on you!

Yesss, I know right? for something that works so well you would think pricey but no, you should totally get one!!!

    3. I know that Ebay sells the same Wand that I use, hopefully you can find one that you like from there that will ship to you..?

Hahaha... That is horrible that they do not sell Litas there! They are so comfortable. I have only tried on the real ones but I could tell they were super light weight and comfy. Maybe you can find soem of those on Ebay too? There has to be a way! I wish you all the luck in finding everything!

  25. How is the quality of the shoes? I have the Sam Edelman "Zoe" which are similar but I always liked the Balenciaga original and I've been watching these on eBay for MONTHS and MONTHS because they look more like the Balenciaga to me than the Sam Edelman pair. Normally I would just bite the bullet since they are pretty cheap but I figured it would be stupid because I already have a pair unless, of course, they're decent.
